Kedge Size

Thoughts on the size of a kedge anchor for my T40? It will be a guardian for weight / stowage. It’s only for keeping the stern in position when slotted right onto a bay in benign conditions. Last year the French were all doing it and my swing got stressful… so why not join them. can’t imagine it needs as much as a primary anchor. Any suggestions??

43ft, 20kg main, fortress FX must be 11 for kedge. On a couple of occasions, after a good blow staying on the anchorage for 3-4days, I had some issues recovering it was too deep in the sand. Only 5m 6mm chain spliced to a thinnish line.
