Evening all.

I’m faced with changing the clapped out Isotherm cooling plate system fitted to my cool box. There are bits missing, cut pipes etc and a large compressor taking up a lot of room in one of the lockers.
There are a few options, one of which is the above named piece of kit. Having seen one installed on one of the popular YouTube channels it all looks feasible enough.

Does anyone have any experience of this cooler? It would be nice to know how efficient/reliable they are before committing my hard earned Sovs to the Italian economy.

I emailed them over the weekend and got a reply today. Available directly from them or soon to be restocked at Amazon.it.

418 euro money plus shipping if bought direct from Aten. I seem to remember them being more from Amazon when they last had them in stock.

At that price, I'd be tempted to use a compressor unit instead, which may use a bit less current. Peltier-effect coolers do tend to be a bit amp-hungry.

I've looked at an Isotherm unit of similar spec, but with a compressor. Current draw is similar, but space and cooling requirements of the comp unit are more of a problem.
I'd still like to know more about performance and reliability of the Keco unit, but it would seem no one here has any experience with one.
