Hi.
The compressor was squealing so we decided to change the clutch. Did the belts, pulleys and changed oil before we did so. Hardly any friction material on the plate compared to the nice shiny new one so fitted it and working a treat....for a short while "sigh"
Still works, kicks in cuts out when it should but it has a knocking noise..a metal on metal kind of noise. Only when it engages though and stops when the clutch stops spinning.
We don't have a manual but the thing was shimmed and we put back in like for like near as dammit but is there a gap we should be measuring and what is it!!?
Thanks
