I am back on the water!
Arrived at Rice & Coles about 3pm yesterday to see an empty cradle and the crane moving. I had missed the launch by a couple of minutes.
Sea cocks seemed ok although have a leak from the heads water inlet when open and from the port cockpit drain which both need to be sorted at the weekend.
Engine started (had tested it ashore) briefly but then petered out. Sounded like fuel starvation as it was 'hunting' a bit before it died. Looked at the manual to see how to bleed the fuel system and I might as well be reading double dutch! Made absolutely no sense at all. I knocked a wire at some stage too and now the engine will not even turn over! Also wondering if the fuel which is of unknown age may be full of gunk blocking the filters. Oh the joys of boating!!
