I wouldn't bother, just replace them. They're £40 each and if they're not failing now, they soon will be.

Do you have the part number & supplier of these please?

Some good advice above.

Turbos on the engines fail at around 15-17 years. OEM replacements from a Turbo shop are around (£750) or £2k+ from VP.

Send the injectors off for testing. They'll probably need new tips. Budget for £800-£1000 or so for two engines with labour (more if using a franchised VP dealer). Get the valve clearances checked at the same time.

Whilst the engineer is at the back of the engines, change the RPM sensors at the same time. Buy Bosch ones from eBay for £40 a pop.

While you are spending money you will need to drain some of the coolant out to replace the turbos. Why not take the opportunity to drain completely and replace with new. There are two different types of coolant, make sure you get the right one for your engine.

Thanks have done and several makes, but Bosch I guess is the best quality ? It looks easy to change - does anyone have a schematic or photo where it is located on the engine please ? Thank you
