My pressure washer has stopped working. I dismantled it and found that the fault lies in the switch mechanism - any idea if it is possible to repair it or get a replacement switch? It seems a pity to have to throw away the whole lot because of a small piece of plastic... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

karcher have a good network of service centres who should be able to provide you with a new part but it will be expensive.

just put "karcher spares" into google and you will find several outlets

Our pressure washer did this too. I simply wired out the switch and now switch it on and off from the extension lead that I always use.

Good idea! The switch arrangement looks really flimsy compared with the ruggedness of everything else!

Current prices in the DIY stores mean you can buy a new unit for little more than the cost of Karcher spares who seem to have based their spares pricing on Volvo Penta!
