I get AD41 keys cut by CIA in Waterlooville, on the advice of the VP place at Port Solent cos its where they go.
Are the KAD43 keys odd in some way? My set look like a basic car ignition key.

Don't think there is anything special about the keys. They're the type that has a foam ring that stops them sinking, same style as we had with the last boat which had AD31s.

The foam also helps to stop water ingress ( rain/sea splashing down into key hole and electrics.)
Could be a problem on open boats ( I had a car spare set cut for use inside only).

I had to buy key blanks from the local Volvo Penta Dealer and got them cut at Timpkins (highstreet key cutter).
