Hi all,
It appears the top gasket (ie. what would sit in the attached picture) has a slight leak. It was mentioned that this may not be a gasket, but instead gasket sealer?

Can anyone confirm? And if a gasket, the part no?

It's a KAD300, but think the superchargers are all the same.

To replace (either gasket or sealer), is it just a case of loosening the 6 x 10mm bolts and lifting the top piece? (If I recall, there is a little wiggle room in the black air pipe feeding to the turbo)

make sure it's oil and fuel proof. SC oil even in minute quantities will go through that seal like a hot knife in butter otherwise and destroy it.

As I want to use the boat this weekend, I used Loctite 5660 Silicone Sealant (as mentioned in the Workshop manual) as I could get it locally.

It wasn't the worst of jobs (apart from a sheared bolt... go figure!) - so if I notice a leak at the end of the season, i'll use RTV as mentioned above. The main time consuming thing was scraping off the old sealant, getting rid of the last of it with thinners and then a wipe of Acetone - leave a half hour to ensure completely evaporated.

Leaving it over-night to cure, fingers crossed. As mentioned, not the worst of jobs either way so no biggie.
