Could a failing turbo boost cause oil to seep into exhaust maybe via combustion system ?
My port engine turbo boost fails to cut in at 2500 revs and engine is smoking more than usual and using oil.

Any experienced engineers out there ?

Short answer is yes. Is the engine failing to go past 2500rpm? Is the supercharger cutting in and out?
Are the fuel filters clean and the hull and props clean?
One engine boat or two?
Take the exhaust elbow off the turbo and have a look at the state of the exhaust impeller inside.

I agree.

If the Turbos are original, then they'll certainly be at the end of their lives now. There's a few places that sell the OEM Borg Warner units directly for £800 so there's no need to spend £thousands by ordering them from Volvo.
