KAD 44 EDC throttle control stiff

Having lubed most things on my new to me boat now, i recon the control setup could do with some help.

It’s mainly very stiff to engage, changing the revs is relatively ok.
Don’t know if it has an actuator, 2000 build.

Had a look on line, can’t see any guides.
Give me a clue please.

there is no mechanical connection between the throttle and the engine/gearbox - it's all electronically controlled. So the good news is that any resistance in the throttle is just in the throttle unit itself. You can adjust the amount of resistance easily - push the lever all the way forward and there is a little slot in the side of the plastic end cap. Lever out the end cap and there is a small nut you can turn to alter the stiffness. Hopefully that will do it.
