Hello , I have a both with twin Volvo penta kad 43p a’s .
I am having an issue with with the starboard engine .
It will rev upto 2000rpm but hits a brick wall and won’t rev any higher ,it is also hard to start but will start faster with ether
I have replaced the fuel filters , checked the fuel lines , ran it on an auxiliary tank and the problem is still present .
I connected an in-line primer bulb and had my son pump it when at 2000rpm and the revs came upto 2500rpm .
When I checked the return line from the injection pump to the tank there is no flow at all . I then checked for return flow at the injectors and there is no flow coming out of the returns on the injectors.
The engine seems like it’s running on all 6 cylinders, the supercharger cuts in but has been disconnected whilst testing , turbo is free and the exhaust elbow is new .
It is driving me mad.
Has anyone had this sort of issue before with a kad 43 ? .
