KAD 32 over cooling
Seem to have picked up a problem with one of my KAD 32's
After a 'flat out' run my temperature gauge on one engine dropped right down to cold when i dropped the revs back to displacement speed on my S28.
Subsequent trips out the temp gauge barely moves on the starboard engine whereas the port warms up as usual to 80 degrees. Putting some load on the engines and the starboard gauge moves to temperature but drops straight back down when power is off.
I've felt the engines after an hour running at 6 kts and the starboard engine is far cooler to touch than the port. The hot water tank is connected to the starboard engine and the water isnt getting particularly hot that quick either.
Before I go and order a set of thermostats - has anyone had anything similar that wasnt thermostat related? Also are they easy to do if it is that?
Finally if I leave it until the spring when its getting a full service will it cause any problems doing a few hours trawling around like this?
