Juxtaposed tastes

Just checked - Chill out available via import on amazon for those happy to cough up - presumably royalties go to the klf so that's ok then /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
awesome album worth paying for anyway

I am carrying nearly 600Ah on board with every conceived light retrofitted to LED to save power, I have scrutinise every bit of power used so I can have enough power to run a proper hi-fi. Not a car stereo with rude boy amps here. Clean sine waves powering a proper British high current amp. (and I am not British but they do know amps). I probably can only afford to run it 3-4 hours a day but I am sure you will hear me coming. No need for AIS transponders. "Nessun dorma" at 3Nm. Follow the ripples like a SAR to find the boat it will be in the middle.

A few things I cant do without, good coffee is one and my music is another. La Pavoni professional on board for coffee. Boil the water before I put it in the tank, then 3mins @ 1000W and you have the espresso machine online for capacino. Hand grind the beans to save power but you cant beat an espresso machine. I love to cook as well so a proper stove is a must for me even though in the end you can cook on anything.

Different genre to your music myself although my my wife loves D&B and everything new. I think she believes she is turning back old age listening to anything our sons think is cool. Ha! Mind you she is pretty fit.

I am a techie geek (computers) so I do like new stuff. I just cant stand the poor quality of MP3 (et all) one bit. Like fingernails on a blackboard. Rubbish rubbish electronic imitation sound. If you want to go hi-tech go lossless through a quality DAC but MP3 or iPod yuk. And this is from an Mac geek. Let iPods stay for what they were designed a personal music player. Lift them to hi-fi with amplifiers and such is just perverted. You guys must have had the tonal quality of your ears blown away at Pink Flloyd concert when you were in the womb.

Hope you take most of that tongue in cheek as it is intended.

Cheers..

Theres an interesting website here... http://www.newmixes.com/category/house
I have used freecorder to capture streaming music(disable UAC if using vista) . If you get chance listen to ben benassi and the dave morales def mix. Really well worth a listen if you like that kind of house. Theres a blame mix on there as well from the essential selection which is "propa' liquid!"
