....and the Thames Forum will reach one thousand threads and ten thousand posts since its inception about eighteen months ago.

Just a few hours ago I discovered that a fellow forumite was tied up just in front of me here at Marlow and Ian and Cathy joined me for afternoon tea on Legacy (well, coffee and Tescos custard pies actually).

Nice to meet you and a happy demonstration of the power of the forum.

Long may it continue !!
 
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wondered if you managed to get it together.

I noticed this afternoon that there were 993 threads and 9936 replies which I thought quite conincidental.

The power of the Forum indeed, such momentous happenings in this month of MAY /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
And from me too.

Not only has it raised the profile of the River, but is a useful source for information.

If only the search facility was any use....

Got three red cards today getting to Henley but sod it!! Its great here weather wise and well worth the ticking off at the locks.

It is NOT a 'Ticking Off' its just EA covering themselves in case of an incident. Think of it more as a warning "proceed with caution".

To be honest Temple was ok and just advised on the conditions ahead. Hambledon didn't bat an eyelid. But Hurley was a completely different kettle of fish. Ticking off is exactly how it felt!!!! I know the reason its to be done especially with the weirs at full tilt.
Maybe the wrong side of the bed this morning at that lock.
