In PBO for Nov the pic of the month shows the Coastguard RIB Osprey aground in Soton water. The chap who took the photo and presumably sent it to the mag says that he contacted the RIB on VHF and suggested using channel 6 "to avoid embarrassment".

What a nice chap, how thoughtful!

The CG stitched me up with some publicity following a similiar incident in a RIB. Took photos and sent them to the local rag.
