This video covers the Shetland Islands. This part starts in Westray and tours the impressive natural harbour of Scapa Flow where the German Fleet was scuttled in 1918. Whilst entering the Hoy Sound for Scapa Flow, known to one of the roughest places in the UK to be with wind over tide, as I found. I even had an unexpected welcoming committee, but alas I could not film this due to the conditions. Whilst in Stromness I visited a number of interesting places. The local museum had lots of interesting displays including items salvaged from the scuttled WWI German Fleet. The heritage sites include the Standing Stones of Stenness, the Ness of Brodgar dig, the Ring of Brodgar, the Unstan Chambered Cairn and the defensive Ness Battery by Hoy Sound.
