Just found something to clean my mast

Spent ages trying to find something to clean 30years of grime of my Aluminium mast.
Then this weekend I had a magic eraser sponge in my hand and just has a go at a small patch, not perfect but a great improvement.

Just as with teak "new" isn't how it's supposed to look. Leave it alone and it'll last longer!

Just avoid damage to the anodising, never use any type of acid.

Cheap but effective solution is Baby Oil rubbed on with a scouring square - green, blue, red or yellow doesn't make any difference.

Dilute G101 from Autosmart. Spray into mit and see the TFR do its work. Or should I say Magic.

It is a bit like Spray 9 for those who hang out in the Caribbean or West Marine but at about 5% yes 5% of the cost.

WD40 is basically white spirit with oil added.
