I've skype'd SWMBO for 4 minutes at 0.12p a minute. Now what am I going to do for 56 minutes? Can't waste 207 rupee's

It's 32 degrees here on the other island beginning with 'M' but you'll be pleased to know it's cloudy.

Does anyone know why my laptop won't mate with the Hotel Wifi which is free. It finds the thing in range but won't connect. System works ok at the home wifi.

Just to keep this boaty, is there a need for a 'public access' campaign - First Mistley, now Sun Pier. Where else is disappearing

Some of these hotel wifi services rely on pop up windows to push a log on page to you...if you've got pop ups blocked you may not be able to get in...

You bog off to that other island starting with 'M', complain about the heat and then have the cheek to ask if we can help you connect to the hotel wi-fi??
You havin' a larf?

Thank's Dick. It's just cost me another one hour's access to read your comment! And I was going to wish you good luck for Saturday night. On a good note, a 4 minute conversation Skype this end to home phone cost 0.04p! And tonight Skype to Skype entirely free - apart from SWMBO telling me that she is leaving a bill round the local Curry House for me to pay.

Incidently, discovered the Wifi on my machine is c**p. Only connect if I am within four foot of the router! Man here says "we don't import those machine. No good!" So thanks Marmalade, it's my machine that's u/s. Back to PC World on my return.

So I won't tell you that it was 32 degrees again today, with light fluffy clouds and a gentle 10mph easterly - which is actually sending a little swell into the harbour to give the world girdlers (all French at the moment) a bit of a fender challenging time.
