Re: GIVE THEM TO ME

Hey, I could do with all your useless junk so if you could all send it over to my place, I can make use of an old gennie and 34 outboards!
Suggestions of other places to look for free junk, welcomed!

Re: XJS V12

That's exactly what I've got. Please let me have your address and I'll arrange for mine to be delivered so that you can rekindle your interest.

Re: XJS V12

Aah but you haven't actually got the boat yet have you so bored and looking for an interesting project rather than "playing on that bloody computer all night again". So what you need is a hobby. Rebuilding an XJS would be ideal for you.

Anyway what is an Ocean 760. Sounds suspiciously like a raggie thing. Surely not.

Re: motorboaty at heart

he's sorted the boat (which is ahem a bit raggie, but never mind) but been a bit careless in accidentally forgetting about an xjs he owns in the Isle of Man, altho he lives in SE London. THIS is is a tru motorboaty. Probably meant to buy a powerboat, but got distracted, or something. It's a very easy mistake....

And I'll finish mending your jukebox if you let me use the gennie that you get in exchange for the lamp. I'll even unborrow your other gennie.

And everybody will be really, really happy

Re: motorboaty at heart

You may be right matts. GIve me a season or two and I may find 7 knots just a bit too slow.

Was a motorboty once a long time ago. We had a Birchwood 36 on the med for 5 years then it went to Paris for a year to become an apartment for my when she first moved there.

Then it was sold to someone in Jersey, wonder where it is now.

I'm afraid to say - loads and loads.

I have a garage full of paint that's the wrong shade (uhh?) loads of power tools that I never use and a lot of really usful multi tools that break up when you try and use them.

Not a lot for the boat - (give me time), Pongos dinghy might be in this list soon, I've got a 220cc 9.5HP Mercury outboard and I'm slowly collecting dead electronic gear from the boat. BTW if it lights and goes peep is not a good test of operational use - be warned

Flying bits - too many training guides to mention, E6B computer / Whizz Wheel, headset.

However I'd like to raise a new category - "Drunk in Charge of a Credit Card, whislt perambulating down Tottenham Court Road".

Whats the most expensive useless electronic thing you've bought - for myself it is a super slim Sony mini disc player with built in radio, and I had to buy the player / recorder to go with the HiFi at home...

Compliments of the season
