Junk rigs...?

Mine (Chinee) is a 1965-ish Kingfisher 20 & this year I've replaced the old flat junk sail with a beautiful cambered one. She is so much better upwind and upwind we can beat the tide in the Exe now. Very few Bermudan yachts sail through the mouth of the Exe. We can, largely because we can turn on a sixpence so tacking is completely painless.

She isn't keen on short waves, though, so we can struggle to beat out at sea, but that is probably the short length and bluff bows as much as the rig.

Rptb1 I'm sorry about the jester - maybe next time. (Not my scene at present!)
