As refurbishment of my Junk rigged Tucker designed Hawsbill 24 proceeds, I am trying to get my head round the rigging, location of lines sheets etc.

Included is the sail and mast from the Junk Virgo Voyager, Proctor un stayed mast, wooden boom yard and battens I have Practical Junk Rig book by Hassler, but the ideal thing would be to comunicate with someone with similar rig experience. The former owner builder never got any further than fitting the mast, so the location of blocks, cleats etc. is to be decided.

There is a junk rigged Virgo Voyager in the harbour at Avoch on the Moray firth. The owner lives about 50 yards from me. He is away just now but if you want I will contact him and the next time he goes out sailing I will take some photos and email them to you if you wish. I have sailed her fast off the wind but will not point. Easy to rig and sail. The mast is an unstayed tapered round section.

Read the book by Annie Hill. I think it's called Cruising on a tight budget.

Just in case you have not seen them, there are 2 clear photographs of Jester in July Yachting Monthly, starting page 52. One shows quite a lot of the deck hardware and lines layout and the other the whole vessel in which the overall rig is shown clearly from the port quarter.
