Julian of Topcat

Does anyone know what's become of Julian of S/V Topcat? He keeps/kept his boat at Porthmadog. It is a Heavenly Twins 26. I stumbled upon his blog and enjoyed it very much.

The last update was October 16th, but it took me a couple visits to realize that the year was 2008. He is/was a member here posting as JOOLS, JOOLS2, and JOOLS of TOPCAT.

Just wondering if he was ever able to get away on his adventure.
