Jubilee clips

I hate worm drive clips and where possible use bolt clamps or crimp ear clips on fuel lined. If i think I may need to remove the connection I use crimp union end fittings on the pipe work

I have been thinking of using multiple heavy duty cable ties tightened with a cable tie puller on low pressure pipe fittings that do not need regular removal.

Pls discuss.

I use the T-drive type (although I didn't know that was their name ) for exhaust hoses. Worm drives are not strong enough to pull up wire-reinforced hose and the more extreme movement could shake hoses off. Although the engine doesn't move more than a few millimetres the silencer just before the skin fitting moves quite violently under the influence of slugs of water hitting it. The only exhaust leak I have had was a fatigue failure in the short length of hose between silencer and skin fitting.
