JRC: NDC-1260 Blowing F3 Fuse

We have a JMA-5106 but the scanner does not rotate
- investigation found a blown F3 fuse on the NDC-1260
- replaced F3 fuse again and it immediately blew

Anyone with some guidance &/or recommendations?

i note that the original poster is on the thames so perhaps he could orient the thing in a suitable direction so it picks up fore and aft targets, albeit no others, would that work, a bit?

When the aerial drive motor failed on the radar on one of our warships during the Falklands War in 1982 the engineers lashed a large baked bean tin at each end of the aerial. It wizzed round a treat after that.
