Anyone any experience with this school. A friend is thinking of their 14 day course that takes you from novice to Day Skipper Practical.

I did the 9 day 'day skipper' there. Good boats, excellent skippers, great location next to restaurants and pubs in Gib. The theory training is a bit crammed over 4 days including exams for 4 hours.
Depending on the mix of the pupils and what you choose to accomplish on your sailing days.
We chose to do lots of close maneuvering activities and so only did a trip across the straits for one night and then stayed local. Others chose to go further afield with longer distance sailing.

Dont know if you have ever owned a Gib registered business, but I suspect not as that is somewhat out of date too.....

No, but I've had reason to investigate a few (admittedly most recently about 15 years ago) and it does/did rather depend on to whom you are related.

Not a lot, but Gib does tend to be Marmite.... (look for that in the back posts...)
