We operate our Prestige 550 Fly on Lake Powell, UT, USA. The lake is 150 miles long and has over 2,000 miles of gorgeous shoreline. See pics below. Miriam and I would love to host another couple on our boat for a week, in return for a chance to see somewhere interesting on your boat. We are in our early sixties and have made over 50 excursions on this lake. We know it well. For fun we have a sport boat for wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and tubing. On the big boat we have a jetski, an ocean kayak and paddleboards. Also hiking through slot canyons around the lake, and cliff jumping are superb. If interested, please let us know.

Those pictures look amazing.

I don't plan on being in the US any time soon but if you're ever in Ireland you're welcome on our Cranchi any time, we love having other boat'y people on-board with us as this forum has proven to offer good karma many times in the past :)

Scott,

We have a Prestige 500 Fly located in Long Beach. Not far from you in the grand scheme of things, but, if you are on the left coast and want to see a sister ship in salt water, please reach out. If your boat is the one I'm thinking of, I envy your hold tank upgrade.

Best of luck with your travel plans.

Hey Matt,

How are you getting on with the boat, trust you are having a great season?

Sounds tempting.
Some years ago, my wife began arranging overseas long trips using home exchange, and we liked that enough that nowadays we wouldn't consider hotels for anything else than very short stays.
Your proposal is along the lines of a boat exchange, without the obvious complications and responsibilities implied by being in charge of someone else's boat, which is nice.
By the way, we are likely to head towards the US for our next trip, because we already have some home exchange credits around there. So, a boating experience in Lake Powell would fit nicely in our plans, if we may interest you in our home cruising grounds in Sardinia. Which have been very well documented in this thread from Hurricane, but Photoshop change of policy screwed most links to the pics. You can still have a look at some nice videos in this other thread from Scubaman, though.

But... What sort of timing do you have in mind?
For us this summer is a bit complicated (we still must bring our new boat from Venice to Sardinia, among other reasons!), but if you don't mind a bit of mid term planning , we can stay in touch... :encouragement:

to MapisM,

I wrote a fairly detailed private message to you, but looks like your mailbox is full :( Perhaps you could send me your email address in a private message or just email me directly at swfrazier@g****.com. This is a gmail address in disguise.

Ops, sorry. I hope you didn't lose your writing when the system replied that my PM was full...
I'll make some room in a minute, but you can also reach me using my username plus "@yahoo.com".
In case I won't hear from you, I'll email you from my personal gmail mailbox to yours as above. :encouragement:

I sent an email to your yahoo email, so let me know if it doesn't come through.

NP - this has got your name all over it, surely?

Edit - sorry Mapism, didn't see your replies to the OP before posting. Not trying to get in the way of your arrangements!

:)
We are going over for sure on our boat, (sailing), in 2018 Jimmy. Unstepping the mast in Miami and Looping Jan to Dec 2019.

Great idea from the OP though and one that could catch on? And if he and his good lady want a few days with us in Portugal next year he should send me a pm (lagoon 450, Algarve).
