Today I found a thread on another forum reporting that John Freeman founder and designer of boats bearing the same name died last Friday.

He has left a great boating legacy. In the picture he is actually sitting in my old boat Tashmar at the 50th Aniversary held at Sheridans.

My early years of boat ownership involved a Freeman 22 whilst a friend of mine had a Feeeman 30. My 22 was the boat my wife and I, in our mid twenties, discovered boating and in particular, the Thames. This experience was to change ours and our kids lives. Thanks John and god bless you.
