Whilst dreaming of getting back to my boat and everything back to a more normal way of life I watched John Boyle's Celtic Crusade video that he did a few years ago.
on his return after getting a new head gasket fitted to his starboard engine, one of his duo props lost a blade which he nearly had to have the boat lifted out as the locking nut was proving too difficult to get off.
Fortunately 2 gentlemen managed to get the locking nut off and by the looks of it had to use a large piece of scaffolding tube on the socket bar as leveridge.
if its the same torque settings as what is on my drive leg (70 -80Nm) how come it got so tight to get off ?
