After seeing a friend using one of these very simple devices, i got one prior to this holiday and what can I say, it just works! Used for diesel transferring from a jerry can to the boats tank with ease and no mess. the jerry can stays upright and the filler funnel was left at home which saved a good bit of space in the locker. A full can was easy with only a couple of jiggles required. A can with only a few litres in the bottom was a bit more work with maybe a dozen jiggles required. Cleaner,easier and quicker than faffing about with a filler funnel. Best few quid I've spent but why has it taken so long for me to find this wee device.

Yes, also have and use one, but syphon it into/through a fine gauze filter funnel. Never know what is at the bottom of the can.

Yes, also have and use one, but syphon it into/through a fine gauze filter funnel.

Pity there isn't one built-in really.

I've found that by passing the hose just above the ball valve through a piece of rigid tube (say 1" OD) you can direct it to the bottom corner of a J-can etc Andrew
