Re Weil's Disease, I know you meant that comment light heartedly and in jest, but I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy in real life.
My Dad contracted it last year while working in the garden, and he was very lucky to survive, especially as he was 75, albeit fighting fit.
The medics in the intensive care unit at the hospital said he had it 'very mildly' - yet he still lost 20 lbs in 10 days, and it took more than 6 months of R & R before he was back on form again.
