Jet washers under water

So I am thinking at home thinking of daft ideas, so you know how the jet wash has a cover when doing block paving.
Right let me start again, I hate paying just for a lift and a jet clean mid season , so I am thinking could you have one of these jet wash covers attached to a rope either side make it so it floats , so it pushes at the hull and move front to rear . Ok back to loose women .

I tried it .... because I can actually stand with wide sole shoes in my channel with boat in the shallow part. Waste of time ... unless I could get nozzle within 1cm of the area to clean - the surrounding water destroyed any pressure ...
The only bit I could do well was above water. But it needs you standing behind the gun to control it.

A patio cleaning head ( round with rotating jets) might ( might !) work as the jet is right next to the hull.

i don’t know how Much water is needed to kill the power of the jet but it won’t be much

Dont take any notice of the doom mongers seastoke. I've done this many times and it works. Get a really powerful jet wash and put it on the most powerful setting. You need all the power you can get so it is isnt dissipated cutting through the sea water. Best to stand in your tender so that you can get the jet wash wand right under the hull. Then just switch it on and watch all those naysayers laugh on the other side of their faces as you blast away all those barnacles and blow them all into the weeds with your extra speed

Have you missed the date ? Its April 3 ... not April 1.

I tried it years ago when water level was reduced in my channel ... unless you can keep that head right next to the hull and I mean real close - its useless.

Power ? Average Karcher / Bosch etc is about 100bar ...... which dissipates in about 20 cm's into water, even less if head is under water .... try it ....

Roy. I have an industrial American jobby. You know the Americans prefer brute force over finesse in their machines. 6000 psi max depending on the head used. I hardly use it as it just blows holes through my tarmac driveway but is great at getting crusties and paint off the outdrives. Dont listen to the naysayers as said above. I'll lend it to you for a couple bottles of Malbec or a nice Pinotage and a deck chair. When can I come?

6000psi Industrial machine is a bit different to the usual domestic machine and I could imagine that could work.
