The arrival of autumnal temperatures has got me thinking about a great jacket I had years ago (70's), made by Javelin. I think it was quite cutting edge in its day and was a wonderfully warm item to wear. The one I owned was blue, fleecy, and a snug fit. Does anyone know if they're still made or where they can be picked up? They were popular with yachties so no doubt many of you will have owned one.

That got me thinking - and searching in the attic.

They did them in blue and in white (I found both colours). My kids wore them yonks ago.

FYI Seahawk in Glenrothes do a very similar jacket - yes, I've got one!

Haven't had time to ID the page, but they were current production a year ago.

Javlin Jackets

Yes I recall the thread about a year ago.. I still have the longjohns for the javlin, which if there's a cold winter this year I may have to resurrect. The jacket seemed to go on and on, covered in antifoul but very warm, have not seen similar for years.

Best fleecy jacket I ever had, wore it until the sleeves were just about transparent, then SWMBO made me throw it out
