For the desperate among you....
The 800ft chimney not doing a lot at Kingsnorth Power Station,is being demolished sometime this year.
Should prove an interesting day out for the impoverished boaters of the Medway.

Power station has been decomissioned and the site has to be cleared as part of obtaining permission to build new one.
Lord knows how certain boaters will find their way back home when coming back from upper Thames or down east coast.

That's exciting news!
Assuming we ever got afloat this Year, we have an outside chance of a ringside seat from the boat

Will be a shame to see it go though (for me, anyway) I grew up watching those twinkling Red lights
