Anyone owned or sailed one?

Was out on one today and the owner has a couple of questions, don't seem to be able to find the original South African builders.

Same maker as the Wildcat 35 - Charter Cats, then later Classic Cats. I believe the builder (Eric Schoeman) has had a number of legal issues, and the cats themselves have the reputation for poor build quality. Looked at a Wildcat once with severe delamination.

Google " Bumfuzzle " for a history of Wildcat problems , its a long story and very interesting .

Thanks. I found the boat quite interesting in light winds, was a battle to trim that big main. But good for space and for a cat seems to take load well. Owner has binned wife and lives on board, enjoying the room and beer!!!!
