I need to replace the 38mm Y valve in my toilet system. I see that the Jabsco valve is now of a new design. Does anyone know the difference geometrically - am I faced with hacking the pipework around to get the new one to fit?

Yes twin 38mm outlets, but I recall that when I bought mine, the kit included a screw in reducer that allowed you to have one branch at 28mm. The swivel facility is very useful if the space fore pipework is limited.

The valve does need to be "exercised" fairly frequently otherwise the internal seal can seize to the plastic and you will have to dismantle the valve to fix it.
