I have an older Jabsco quiet flush toilet in the boat ( currently all dismantled while restoring interior) type 37045-0094
This is a fresh water system, so pump at tank to solenoid for flush and pump at toilet into holding tank.
The solenoid valve is an older type than the ones currently sold, and is in very poor looking state so I'm going to replace it.
I have seen lots of similar solenoid valves same operation, ( 24v normal closed ) with same inlet and out let connectors but as these are not from marine vendors they are a fraction of the price, ie Jabsco 37038-2924 £127 similar from £15- £35. Will they do the same thing, or has anyone here replaced with a non Jabsco type?
Cheers

The jabsco had a anti syphon in it to stop it syphoning toilet water back in the fresh water tank , but you could get a in line none return valve to do the same job . Taps on jetties have the same facilities.

You’ve got to know what you’re doing to fit a non jabsco which stops contamination of your drinking water from your toilet. I don’t so I fitted the £140 part. That’s not a lot of diesel.
