Yes, did that but it seems to come loose again.

As its a twist (& lock) action in the handle I wondered if there was a way to stop it undoing again.

Is it broken, is there a clip that needs locating somewhere, or something else.

Surely it should not be able to undo that easily

Mine doesn't have any kind of clip. Just pull up the handle, tighten the cap with a suitable spanner and don't be too heavy handed with the handle. It is just a simple quarter turn to lock the handle from lifting. Or are you using the handle to tighten the cap itself? 🤔

As you suggest, sounds like it isn't tightened properly. Ours are in use multiple times every day for several months and the caps never come loose.

The plastic used in the cap is quite easily deformed if you don’t get the spanner fit on the relevant moulding (?) correct. I use an adjustable that can be fitted exactly and therefore doesn’t slip or damage it.

You could, but why would you? I think the problem is it simply hasn’t been tightened up sufficiently, not that it is working loose through use. I take my cap off periodically to clean and apply a little silicone grease to the Plunger O ring to keep it running smoothly.
