Having fitted and plumbed up my holding tank i am kind of fascinated how the loo actually works, by this i mean how does it pump the liquid to the tank and not seem to leave any in the pipes, or is there stuff in the pipes at all times?
I cant really see how the air doesnt just get past the waste and leave the waste in the pipework.
Am i missing something?
I have only tried it with water so far, not that brave yet
I did notice splashback in the bowl after the contents of the bowl had been pumped away is this normal?
I should say toilet to y valve 1 metre then 4 meters ish to the holding tank and its uphill all the way, 38mm pipe all the way.
