Jabsco pump bayonet fitting O-rings

Thanks Stu. I'm more than happy to buy them, about £8 for 10 from Simply Bearings but I object to having to buy them complete with the elbows for the same price for two, then throw the elbows away!
Found them, straight connectors, will be back on the 16 th, you can have them.

I carry some "O" rings aboard, but I also have a knife and some super-glue. Standard practice out in the wilds.

Yes, I do the same but the O-rings in these pumps are very small and seem to have taken up some compression set, so leaked when re-assembled. There are so many variables in material, hardness, dimensions that it would be nearly impossible to carry enough. What I did do was use liquid PTFE sealant, which once again proved to be the ultimate answer to sealing problems.

Stu, thanks very much.

I need new O-rings for my domestic water pump, Jabsco Par Max 3.5 and for the flush pump of my Jabsco Lite Flush toilet and for the outlet from the discharge pump. These are the ones that seal the bayonet fittings that stab into the pump inlet and outlet ports. All are 1/2 inch and seem to be the same size on each unit. Jabsco will not sell me the O-rings separately and want an extortionate amount for the elbows with O-rings, which I will throw away once I have removed the O-rings.

Does anyone have the details of O-ring sizes fitted to these pumps, please? Maybe I can then buy the rings only at a sensible price.

Think you will find FloJet pumps use same fittings. They were called Quest fittings. I have never seen o-rings sold specific for these fittings, but have gone to my local "hardware" suppliers several times over the years & bought off the shelf o-rings by "comparison fit" & they work fine. Doubt if the o-rings are metric -quite sure they are inch.
