Toilet works ok but does not empty bowl when leaver turned to empty bowl position........what is the likely problem.

Just buy either overhaul kit or a new pump assy - replace all the bits and hey presto. Takes about 40 mins to do the kit (depending on your access). Less to replace the whole pump.

Done a few now and its usually been exactly the same fault as yours!!

Yep, been there, done that so buy Jabsco spares kit from local chandler and fit every piece, otherwise it will come back to haunt you!

I've just sent Jabsco an email about the same problem /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gifThey sent out the same day a new top valve flap and a spring.Whilst fitting these I noticed there was no spring originally fitted, once fitted it works really well with no priming required total cost SFA /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

grey handle model under the top section of the pump there is a lug for the spring to fit on

jkay,
tried to PM you but I don't think it worked because did
not register in my sent private messages.

Please could you tell me who you emailed
and is it just a case of taking the top part off i.e. the
small lever and not the whole pump assembly

Gordon
