I\'ve seen the light...

I've been buying the occassional LED buld over the last few years in the hope they'll eventually develop a warm white high power bulb - and finally I've found one! It claims to be equivalent to a 50W halogen and I believe it. The only problem (apart from its cost!) is finding a fitting for it.
Does anyone know a bulhead fitting in chrome that will take an MR16 bulb (2 pin, 50mm dia, 50mm deep, spot format)?

Do you mean a bulkhead angled reading light like this one??

They come with a Halogen 12v 10w lamp, but I changed them for LED lamps similar to these that I got from Lidl.

I think the pins ?might? fit, but this one is a cone, 2" diameter by 2" deep, so there might not be space for it. According to Wikipedia, MR16 describes the overall bulb size & shape, GU5.3 or Gx5.3 describes the pins. Your GU4 pinned bulb has the pins 4mm apart. My MR16 is 5.3mm apart.
Whilst I haven't tried the one you linked to Ian, I have tried others rated at "30W" equivalent, and I can say these new ones are simply in a whole new league. Absolutely bright enough to read by and a good colour as well.
