well you could call it MOT for short, bit um unromantic ! there's a swordsman on hlb's mooring, have often admired it, can't answer (as you know) the technical engine type questions, but seems its ruled out now anyway.

Well it could be called car tax or road vehicle excise licence, even less sexy than MOT!

Pity that particular one doesn't suit,

I looked at her a few years ago when Berthons had her for sale, great looker, with a groovy interior - very Roger Moore era James Bond, round bed, ruched leather, that sort of thing.

Still, if the Sabres are a bit scary there are others out there with Yanmar 440s' and two speed boxes

Good hunting, there aren't many really good looking boats out there to choose from.
