As documented elsewhere, we picked up our new boat yesterday (Bav S40 HT). Leaving aside the obviously sailing-related things that we don't need, we took all our boaty kit and stores with us to set the boat up for use. The cockpit lockers are very small and awkwardly shaped. Where does all the stuff go on a 44' motor boat? Or have I got too much?

Just wondering what people tend to do. Less is more I suspect.
Examples of things without an obvious home:
- Fenders, when they're not in use
- Fresh water hose reel
- Deflated dinghy
- Charts and pilot books etc
- Toolkit
- Long thin things like boathook, deck wash brush, moorfast
Just wondering what people tend to do. Less is more I suspect.
