I've got a new toy

It's spilt milk now, but you may want to recheck out post #2 - there is the OP's original quote (of sorts), and then Sandyman made his comment (in post #2), whereby he came across as a bit of a tw@t! (with I hasten to add, no smiley's)

Anyway, nice boat & nice pics.

That's what I was saying in Sandyman's original post he put a smiley in the title bar...But then again he didn't set the record straight so perhaps it wasn't meant in jest..

....I tell you what does wipe the smile off your face...I've been eating the left over curry my wife cooked last night for my lunch whilst reading the forum...

..I've just eaten one of the birds eye chillies she put in without knowing it until it hit my taste buds.....I'm currently having problems seeing the screen as the sweat pouring off my span is getting in my eyes...not too mention they are watering...

...Thankfully I have a cold beer to put out the fire's of Hades!!:eek:

Nice boat jb. Must be close on the max size for dry-berthing at Saxon Wharf?

Prolly making less wash at 40+ knots than this, which is more like 15: :D

I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised, that V6 has a reputation for not drinking a lot.
Congrats, nice boat indeed, and quite performing too!

PS: what is the round spot on stbd side of the bow, next to the anchor locker?

Sorry about the late reply, been out on the boat ;)

Tis the horn.

Re the comments about Sandyman. I don't know the guy but I took his comments as being tongue in cheek. If he was being serious I don't give a stuff, life's too short.

I did get yelled at by a canooist (they're like bugs on the Itchen at the moment. I was sorting out fenders and lines at tickover, just on the edge of the channel when the two numpties come flying along. Got most upset that I was on the part of the river that they wanted to use. Since I was on the bow at the time, single handed, there was not much I could do apart from wave to him if you see what I mean

Speaking as a raggie, I feel I have to add...

...lovely looking boat, enjoy it in all it's 40 knot glory (I'm sure it sounds great at full chat) - we're not all wash-obsessed grumpy buggers!!

Thank you. I have a loveley weekend out testing the ability to cope with the lovely Solent chop.

Eased off a bit but still a big grin.

I do try to give you guys a wide berth if at all possible, especially if you're up front playing with those white flappy things. It does get a bit tight though between the Hamble and Calshot.

There's only a minority of Grumpies on both sides. Who cares, if the sun's shining just smile and wave
