Is anyone going to moot the difference between a pair of trousers that are faded to a washed out pink, as opposed to those that are port lateral mark/ferrari red?
I have a friend who has a very large house, a large farm, all kids went to public school, very well connected. He wears red trousers for his farming activities. He loved it when when we described it as "sheeping". As in "Have you been sheeping today John?"I have noticed this trend. Muted red trousers are moving towards the likes of Barbour jackets as an established 'toff' fashion statement.
Slightly surprisingly, I noticed several different kinds of red or burgundy trousers among the small selection of menswear at my local Sainsburys. Then again, it was part of a sale display - perhaps nobody wanted to buy them!
