The C-map I bought off Mailspeed marine on 24th Feb arrived today.

They do claim that it was originally sent to me direct from the manufacturers on the 19th April - still 2 months late - but the Royal Mail was unable to deliver and it was returned as I didn't know about it and there was no card posted through my door.

The fault at Mailspeed is not their prices, stock breath or even the delays, it is that they do not respond very well when there is a problem.

Well done Major.......... persistence pays out again !

Now you will be able to travel the full length of the Menia Canal and not get lost :)

Tom

It's not getting lost, it's the dodging the cavalcade of boats coming at you that I need it for.

Pleased to see that you made it back, even if you don't return text messages asking if you are still alive.

You will eventually stumble across the thread where no one but I was concerned about you. [GRASS] Especially Phil. [/GRASS]

Ahermm, I think you'll find I was the first one to enquire about Littleships safe crossing.

I never let the truth get in the way of a good story, but yes, you did raise it first and then you went and spoilt it.

How did the fettlin' go? You were down in the cellar for a long time and even Jasper decided to go all seagull.

I heard that later tea and bourbons were offered to passing persons.

Not really, I was glad he was safe, just jealous as we would've gone had it not been for a planned visit by relatives from afar

Fine, plotter now chats merrily to the VHF

I heard that later tea and bourbons were offered to passing persons.

Only to V.I.P.'s with important news ;)

The shop at Warrington was all closed up today
