We left Studland last Thursday I think. Difficult to tell, I haven't worn a watch for the last month. Stops at Newtown, Portsmouth, a long stretch to Brighton, a hop to Eastbourne and the most wonderful sail to Dover today. We're anchored in the outer harbour (cheapskates) and set off in the morning for Harwich. 57 miles and some big tides makes it a long day. We need to be at North Foreland by noon I reckon so some foul tide for the first bit. The Solent is the best for a family holiday but you can't beat the East Coast for feeling like home. Just wish it wasn't so blumin' far tomorrow.
