It\'s a bit windy

Just been down to check the boat (moored on the Beaulieu River opposite Bucklers Hard) and it is like the perfect storm down there. I managed to get to the boat moored on the jetty but the waves breaking over the pontoon soaked me. I will have 6to keep my fingers crossed that the mooring lines hold fast untill the wind dies down.

I have never seen it like this in the 18 months that I have moored there.

I'm hoping it calms down for the weekend. I've work to do on my boat and I also want to take it out for a run. I'm currently sat at my desk in London and its bad here as well. My wife has just phoned from Chester, bad there also!!

Of course from this its quite obvious its all Francoise Mistral from Le Havre's fault ...beans and champagne for tea and what do you expect!

Dave,

Hope Dream Catcher's OK. We're out of the water at the Agamemnon Boatyard at the moment so I'm hoping we don't get blown over or have someone blow over on to us. Lots of boats around us with big sticks on top that look as if they're designed to catch the wind........./forums/images/icons/smile.gif
