Italy - North Adriatic, any tips ?

I will be relocating to Fano and am interested in getting sailing related info on the stretch of coast from Rimini to Ancona, marinas, harbours, prices etc.

Ken...There is a very nice gentleman called Mario Mapis who posts as MapisM. He lives up that way. I bought some davits from him when he upgraded his to hydraulics and we corresponed for a while.

I suprised he hasn't spotted this post yet, but if he doesnt, send him a PM, I'm sure he will be only to happy to help.

This site will give you some info re marinas and ports (as well as links which might help with prices). Boring bit of coast, tho'! Have at my site where you might find other useful bits about the Adriatic. The pilot you'll need is published by Zanichelli (in Italian): it has all the details.
