Hi,
just a update, colin on the outboard,have located bracket,would you believe at Wells!.Engine runs a treat and no water pump to worry about.....sorry but yes its a Volvo!!......

But then this is a Volvo outboard and I hate to think when it was built but I'm sure it's the same engine that Thor Heyerdahl used on his boat;-) Obviously they've chaged their design philosophy since eh.
